Meet Our STATE officers & Board Members
KRCRC's state board of directors is all-volunteer and hard-working team. State board members and officers serve two-year terms; many continue on after their initial term. The state board meets bi-monthly.
Rev. Wayne A. GnatukChairperson
The Rev. Wayne A. Gnatuk is a retired pastor of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). He has served several congregations and served in Louisville on his denomination's national staff for fifteen years. Since retirement, Wayne has volunteered in the reproductive justice movement, and has been the Chair of KRCRC's Board since 2017.
Ann T. AllenSecretary & Newsletter Editor
Ann T. Allen grew up in Maryland, moved to Louisville in 1971, and taught history for forty years at the University of Louisville. She has published many books and articles on the history of women in Europe and the United States. She joined the Board of Directors of KCRC in 2016 and serves as Secretary and editor of the KRCRC newsletter, Voice for Choice.

Carol SavkovichVice-Chairperson
Active in reproductive rights work since the 1980s, Carol Savkovich joined KRCRC's board in 2010 and has served as its Board chair (2011-13, 2015-2018), graphic designer, and past newsletter editor. She brings Jewish faith perspectives to the board.
Laurie KaplinTreasurer
From the Jewish faith, Laurie Kaplin joined the KRCRC board in 2011 and became the treasurer for KRCRC in early 2012. She was previously employed as a SQL Database Manager and Systems Analyst for NTS Development Company but is now retired and enjoying an active life as both a volunteer for various organizations and being a grandmother.

Meet Our outreach coordinators
As of summer 2022, KRCRC employs two full-time Outreach Coordinators. They work to establish
new KRCRC chapters throughout Kentucky, and to build strong connections between KRCRC
and individual faith congregations and communities.

Theresa M. Scott, M.A.eDTheresa Morgan Scott, a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, holds an M.A. in Vocational and Home Economics Education. She has worked in education for twenty-five years, and her most recent employment was as a Family/Consumer Sciences Educator with the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service. Her experience with communities in Eastern Kentucky has prepared her for her work as KRCRC outreach coordinator.
