- Medication abortion typically consists of two pills, mifepristone and misoprostol, which work together to end a pregnancy.

Compassionate Care –
free & non-judgmental
Would you like to speak with someone who is non-judgmental, and can talk with you about all your options? There are several good (and free) choices. They are:
KRCRC, the Kentucky Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, (866) 606-0988, can provide free faith-based compassionate (all-options) care, for those of any faith. Call our message line and leave your first name and a number where we can reach you. Someone will call you back within 24 hours and arrange for over-the-phone care with a non-judgmental clergy person. You may also email us at [email protected].
Faith Aloud, (888) 717-5010, is another non-judgmental source of faith-based support.
All-Options, (888) 493-0092, will provide non-religious, non-judgmental all-options support.
Funding and other Practical Support
Once you've decided that an abortion is right for you, there can still be many impediments to getting one. While KRCRC does not do abortion funding or direct access support, we can point you in the right direction.
There are several useful organizations to know about, that can give financial and/or practical help for those seeking an abortion. They are:

NAF provides unbiased information about abortion, as well as other resources, including financial assistance. Their hotline hours are:
