KRCRC works to educate the public on a broad spectrum of legal, medical, social, and religious issues.
State Fair Booth
Every August, KRCRC staffs our "Pro-Family, Pro-Faith, PRO-CHOICE" booth all eleven days of the Kentucky State Fair. This is our way of maintaining visibility and reaching people from throughout the state who come to Louisville only once a year. We engage in conversation, educate using our "Spinning Wheel of Reproductive Knowledge," and invite people to join the KRCRC community.
Staffing the fair booth takes MANY volunteers, working two-person shifts. Would you be able to take a shift? Contact [email protected] to offer to help!
Community Tabling
We staff booths at many public events, where we educate using our "Spinning Wheel of Reproductive Knowledge." Visitors spin the wheel and answer a question (e.g., "What percent of women having an abortion are already mothers?"), receiving an "I am a fan of reproductive freedom" hand fan as a prize. Our booth volunteers also distribute brochures and newsletters, answer questions, and recruit new supporters.
Newsletter
Our newsletter, Voice for Choice (published three times a year), informs readers about current events and issues and encourages them to join with us in advocating for reproductive justice. Sign up here.
Literature and Speakers
A KRCRC brochure, "The Truth About CPCs" warns against the false claims of so-called “crisis pregnancy centers.” You can request a copy at [email protected].
KRCRC would be pleased to provide a speaker for your group or congregation. Please email us at [email protected] to request a speaker.
Clergy Training
If you are a member of the clergy and would like to offer compassionate (all-options) care to women and families coping with problem pregnancies, please consider attending a training session and joining the growing group of clergy who make themselves available. Contact us at [email protected].
